Why it is on the list

The listing describes a 2.5 kg powder for 83 loads packed entirely in paper, without fragrance, optical brighteners or microplastic.

Watch out for

A paper bag has no resealable lid or dosing aid, and a reviewer notes the powder can clump unless it is decanted into a tin.

We have not physically tested these products. Our shortlist is research-based: we check what the listing says, favour non-plastic main materials and name the limits we can see. Always read the listing for sizes, certifications and care instructions.
